In november of 2013 I celebrated the first anniversary of Shortlife, a so-called ’Paper Anniversary’, by proudly presenting a few highlights of that year in a booklet entitled ’Wie Schetst Mijn Verbazing?’. Literally translated as: 'Who sketches my amazement?' Which in Holland means the same as the expression ’To my surprise…’ The limited edition of 200 copies came with a pencil with the same slogan on it. I presented each of these 200 books with a hard cover (screen printed by myself) a number and a signature. At the end I challenged the reader to draw. The most hilarious entry received one of the t-shirts from the Shortlife Collection.
