Colors of Life —— the Works by Carlos Vivar

From the color in the memory
When you need to show and talk about Mexico to someone who have not been there and barely know about this country, the colors turns out to be one of the most referenced symbol. For those who have already been to our country, just by mentioning all the colorful sceneries, their eyes reflect joy and amazing memories.
It is possible to say precisely that the color in Carlos Vivar’s work is the most distinctive thing we can find. In the texture of his art work and the memory of primal rock painting, the explosions of color catch your eyes and make you astonished to observe that his paintings unfold a history before your eyes. The narration in his work allows telling a round story that links the spectator and the art work, which can begin at any point and can return to the beginning that everyone wants to determinate. His art work accompanies me in different territories, and in all these territories it is appreciated its freshness and temptation to enter the history of art by means of the intensive strokes and the contrasting color.
