180 | Brand Identity for Theater & Opera Festival

Client 
180 is a festival of modern theater and opera. The main concept of the theater is to create a mix of light, music and theater, which adds mysticism and expressiveness to any event at the festival. The concept of phantasmagoria was taken as a basis for the development of the idea.

Phantasmagoria alternatively fantasmagorie and/or fantasmagoria was a form of horror theatre that (among other techniques) used one or more magic lanterns to project frightening images, such as skeletons, demons, and ghosts, onto walls, smoke, or semi-transparent screens, typically using rear projection to keep the lantern out of sight.

Task 
We were approached by colleagues from Vlada.Agency to develop the festival's visual aids. The main task is to form a relative modularity in the identity so that you can feel a bit of the magic of the 180 festival on any medium.



Result 
The result of the project is a complete and emotional identity. Thanks to the dark background, and distortion of reality, we created a clear image and recognition of the festival, which cannot be confused with anything else. As well as emotions and impressions from the festival. We are in touch
