Posters in support of Ukraine

This poster depicts a lady dressed in traditional Ukrainian attire - a vyshyvanka (embroidered shirt) and a vinok, a floral headdress. The flower crown derives from pagan tradition: it was worn for centuries by girls and young women, symbolizing their purity and fertility.
Saint Olga of Kyiv is a historical figure renowned for her unconventional approach to justice. She was a woman who navigated complex political landscapes with resilience and determination.

At the time of her husband's death, their son Sviatoslav was only three years old. Therefore, Olga took over as her son's regent and ruled on his behalf. She was the first woman to rule Kievan Rus'. In doing so, she is said to have had considerable support from the army and her people.
Profit from the sale of posters was used to donate to Polish Humanitarian Action aiding Ukrainians impacted with the ongoing war.
