Approach/Process:

My concept for this piece was for the type to feel very scattered and just on the bring of balancing. I ultimately decided on the blue color, because the book goes into a lot of detail about loss and sadness, but also peace at the end. The process of this piece was a lot of fun. I liked how it felt kind of backwards to do the shape and type separate without knowing what the book was going to be. It was fun to think of the concept before thinking about a full story, and developing the design first based on a more simple concept. I had a lot of fun doing this project and playing with type, color, and more.
