A Semana Farroupilha, para os gaúchos, é a principal semana do ano, onde se comemora o Dia do Gaúcho. Nela são realizadas provas de laço, demonstrações de danças artísticas e cavalgadas para festejar esta data.
Eu e meu amigo Geison Ranzi (ilustrador) fomos convidados a ajudar neste evento, criando a identidade visual. Como o briefing era indefinido, optamos pela criação própria, unindo a ilustração com o design gráfico.
A inspiração para este trabalho foi uma letra de música de um grande artista, cantor e compositor do Rio Grande do Sul, Luiz Marenco, onde sua letra fala de um gaúcho com saudades de sua terra, de sua família e de seu cavalo. Como o tema do evento era "Nossas Raízes", nada melhor que esta letra para ilustrar nosso trabalho.
Neste trabalho, criou-se a ilustração e, juntamente com ela, a composição de madeira, para remeter aos galpões tradicionais, sendo aplicado em cartazes, banners, faixas, anúncios para jornais, livreto, flyer, etc.
Como este trabalho foi realizado sem fins lucrativos, conseguimos um encontro e um autógrafo com o cantor que inspirou nosso trabalho, deixando-nos extremamente realizados.

The Ragamuffin Week for the Gauchos, is the main week of the year where we celebrate the Day of the Gaucho. It tests the loop, statements of artistic dance and horseback riding are held to celebrate this date.
Me and my friend Geison Ranzi (illustrator) were invited to help this event, creating visual identity. As the briefing was undefined, we opted own creation, combining illustration with graphic design.
The inspiration for this work was a letter from a great music artist, singer and songwriter of Rio Grande do Sul, Luiz Marenco, where his letter speaks of a gaucho longing for his land, his family and his horse. As the event's theme was "Our Roots", nothing better than this letter to illustrate our work.
This work has created the illustration and, along with it, the composition of wood, to refer to traditional sheds, applied on posters, banners, ads, newspaper, pamphlet, flyer, etc..
As this work was carried nonprofit, managed through a surprise, an autograph and a meeting with the singer who inspired our work, leaving us extremely accomplished.
