The largest producer of steel and aluminum wheels in the world, Maxion Wheels needed a website that would consistently, comprehensively and compellingly represent the company and its various global acquisitions. They engaged Moncur Associates to help with key messaging and content strategy, as well as the design and development of a fully content-manageable website. We began as we always do: By listening, and seeking to understand their needs as well as those of customers and potential recruits. We used that understanding to develop a structure, content and visual style that would more accurately represent who the company is today, and that would immediately convey the the level of quality, reliability and innovation that they deliver. The new MaxionWheels.com brings consistency to the disparate legacy brands, showing how they add to the expertise and capabilities of the company without creating confusion, or diluting the overall Maxion brand. With intuitive and easy-to-use navigation, Maxion’s customers and prospective hires can now easily find what they’re looking for. The most frequently sought after information is featured at the forefront, and the CMS makes it easy for their internal teams to create connections with the supporting content users will look for next. Moncur also helped coordinate and direct on-location photoshoots in two of Maxion’s Mexico manufacturing facilities. The resulting gallery of images is used throughout the site, and conveys not only what Maxion does, but the attention to quality, craft and process with which they do it.
