During research I started to realise how the media portrays and jumps onto the band wagon of reports from scientists that are yet to be fully proven, or point out all the bad rather than the good. This interested me as a designer, because do we have a role to play in this?

Should we always side with the media’s portrayal of the world, or should we promote only the truth?

My idea for this was to show a food item which has had negative connotations in a way that can make you think about the benefits to have some in your diet rather than a lot or none at all.
By letter-pressing each label & prescription pad I tried to bring a somewhat crafted feel to a mass produced item. What I hoped to acheive by doing that was to create an object
could change the perception on how we value objects like this as something dis-guard to something we could potentially keep for something more than that objects initial value.

By making chocolate into a pill, does this change the way we see it? Does it now have the connotations that come with medicine such as paracetamol, does it now point out that too much of a good thing is bad for you?
