He founded his own clothing company <Y's> in 1972, had his first fashion show in Tokyo in 1977, and presented his first collection in Paris in 1981 in collaboration with Rei Kawakubo, famous for 'Comme des Garçons', creating yohjiyamamoto women's ready-to-wear. The line was launched. Furthermore, we continued Yohji Yamamoto's philosophy of preferring black and improved the brand's image.
