DESCRIPTION:

The poster is titled "Ride the snake" and refers to "riding" the current stand and ideologies, ruling political orientation and corporations in power, approved standards and opinions... Context and theme of the poster relates to the current and permanent time in a globally applicable setting, not defined by any space in particular.

In the absence of psychedelia author's existing title re-contextualizes a term popularized by Jim Morrison’s peyote trips – a famous saying 'Ride the snake'*.

*Ride the snake – Pulling through a psychedelic drug experience by help from friends (usually also tripping). The idea of the trip as a long ride on a seemingly dangerous creature, whom u must trust (ride) to the lake (that moment of relief). Made popular by Jim Morrison's peyote trips. The example of a snake is found in Native American rites of passage.
