Through this whole course of Web 2, I’ve finally see myself being able to manage the codes needed in an html page better and what is needed to be done in order to make a html page work or what are the steps that we should do in order to get the effects work in Dreamweaver. For instance, during the working process for assignment, I wasn’t able to get my lightbox to work, the images that I clicked on didn’t show the pop up effect that I wanted. However, through several checking and try outs, the lightbox effect that I wanted to achieve finally works! This also shows that by doing this assignment, it tells us that we continuously try and solve our problems without giving up as doing so will help you to learn and understand from the mistakes that you have made.

In addition, I’ve also enjoying myself while creating the webpages for my assignment. Despite being really frustrating and that we always get paranoid over the corrupted codes, at the end of the day, being able to see our items or effects work on our webpage gives us a sense of achievement. As for me, the greatest achievement or the page that I liked the most among the many that I’ve created was the index page. As I’ve included an edge animate slider in this page, the initial work out for the codes to work wasn’t successful at all. As slider didn’t appear even though z-index was placed at the highest. However, I continued to try my way out and finally, I managed to get it work!

 

To sum up the entire journey of Web 2, I can say that it’s a meaningful and fruitful learning journey for me. As I saw myself being able to understand the problems that I’ve made and to be able to solve it on my own, or otherwise seek help from others and to learn from it.Thus, all in all Web 2 was a meaningful module that I see myself learning throughout.
