EMVEE Timesheet App

Overview
In the Emvee Timesheet App project, conceived during my participation in Google's UX Design Professional Certification Program, I tackled the challenge of designing an efficient and user-friendly timesheet management app for music venue employees. My role as a UX Design Student encompassed comprehensive responsibilities from research to final design iterations. I embarked on an empathetic design journey, starting with user research, where I conducted interviews and competitive audits, leading to the creation of detailed personas like Miller and Frida. This research informed the design process, which began with hand-drawn wireframes and progressed through digital wireframes using Figma, culminating in a low-fidelity prototype. Key insights from usability studies with real users were instrumental in refining the app's design, focusing on ease of use, reduction of manual errors, and accessibility. The final design of the Emvee Timesheet App was a culmination of these efforts, resulting in a user-centric tool that significantly reduced the time spent on managing timesheets and streamlined the overall user experience, ready for future iterations and improvements.
The design underwent a series of rapid and iterative refinements throughout the testing phase, ensuring a dynamic and responsive evolution of the user interface.
Analyzing user feedback revealed pain points and provided crucial insights into the areas where the app needed improvements, enabling us to enhance the user experience significantly.
