The Vilnius Academy of Art Graduation Show is an annual event that marks the culmination of years of dedication and hard work by our graduating students. As a graduate of Vilnius Academy of Arts, designer Ailenas played a pivotal role in crafting the visual narrative of the Vilnius Academy of Arts Graduation Show. Drawing inspiration from the ellipse, a form that dominated all graphic elements of the exhibition, designer sought to portray boundless possibilities, cycles, and the rotation of students. Different colors symbolized the diverse directions of studies—contemporary art, traditional arts, and design.

The selected colors also served as navigational cues within the premises of Vilnius Academy of Arts, situated in the heart of Vilnius Old Town. Clarity, youthfulness, and subtlety were the primary elements chosen by the designer to foster a connection among the public, students, and the showcased graduation projects.

Designer’s intentional use of the ellipse reflects the cyclical nature of artistic exploration and the ongoing growth within the academic environment. The vibrant hues signify the variety of creative paths undertaken by students during their studies, celebrating the multidisciplinary essence of Vilnius Academy of Arts.
