Roles: art-director, lead 3d artist, CG-generalist.
This film is about cursed game that can kill a player in real life if he looses.I was responsible for developing a virtual game world that broke out into our real world. I created many 3D scenes, developed and composited various graphic elements into live action footage and created various assets in a single style for the further work of the compositing team.
Director of the film (Randal Kirk II) wanted to combine various aesthetics toghether. So for 3D part we decied to stick to video-game-like graphics but with realistic lighting to emphasize surreal events and inabiltiy to distinguish reality from video game. For that I used Unreal Engine 4 and Blender as main tools.
For the opening sequence I needed to recreate Tokyo's Akhibara district with SEGA building and its interior in Unreal Engine.

Secret underground portal that made the game cursed.
One of the leading motive was the lonliness and the santiy of main antogonist.
