Granarly: Packaging Design

PACKAGING DESIGN
I worked with Granarly to revamp their packaging and prepare the brand to launch in Targets nationwide. I added more intricate illustrations that capture the spirit of Oatis, the llama - the company's mascot, for each flavor of granola. I also rearranged the hierarchy on the package by redesigning the typography on the front and back.
I designed 5 SKUs of packaging: The OG (the signature flavor), Mardi Pardi, Espresso Yo'Self, Skinny Jeans, and Groovy Green.

Mardi Pardi is heavily inspired by Mardi Grass and the traditions that surround it,
such as the King Cake and Mardi Gras beads.

Skinny Jeans is a vegan granola, therefore the llama grows it on their plant.

Espresso Yo'self is a special coffee and chocolate flavored granola with real coffee
in it, made in collaboration with Thrive Farmers. The llama on the packaging is
preparing their own espresso in a mug with the Thrive Farmers' logo, and there's
a stack of chocolate for dessert.

This is the signature flavor so it really needed to shine among all the other packaging.

This package was supposed to have a disco-flower power vibe to it, therefore I made the llama wear a hippie outfit and added some disco balls including a special disco bowl.
