Animated Study
This study focused on combining a handful of research projects I had done with 502 Bad Gateway studio Co-Founder, Robert Ruth. The organic architecture was designed procedurally using a pseudo-stigmatic organic growth system developed using boids. This project also features varying per-object frame rates, utilizing a process called "hold-framing." Lastly, we played around with designing custom, scene independent volumetric light shaders that can exist within a defined object's geometry. Below you can find some BTS:
