This is my pet project booklet. In this project I photographed a pearl necklace throughout the semester. This object was eventually used as a symbol in conjunction with an article. The images and article were put together in a 16-page booklet. I Learned to use interesting symbolic images to illustrate a booklet.

This project started by taking photos every week throughout the semester. Each week we focused on different elements of design such as lighting, unusual angles, point of view, close up etc. Since my topic was "Pearls of Wisdom" I tried to think of different ways to photograph that idea. Here are some of the best photos.

 

I then created thumbnails for a first draft. 

In this step I printed out the pages and created a 16 page booklet.
