Problem

Publish the first issue of the Alta & Baixa magazine in print and on the web. Alta & Baixa is a magazine of typographic culture that aims to reflect on all aspects of typography, including its history, and whose contents are deliberately eclectic. It also seeks to publish historical and contemporary material from academic and journalistic sources.

Solution

Create the first edition of Alta & Baixa magazine, which contains two articles, based on the contrast in the magazine's name. Therefore, we created two books with different formats, one for each article, using upper and lower case, serif and non-serif fonts and the colours black and white. The structure of the magazine is preserved between the printed and the web versions, through the use of interactions such as scrolling.
