Health Intervention Services
In the spring of 2011 at Calvin College, my senior project in my final Communication Design course (Studio Art 355) was to design a set of advertisements and materials for Health Intervention Services, a non-profit health clinic that serves the Grand Rapids area. My class spent time researching and developing solutions for the health clinic, including ads and billboards, patient and volunteer brochures/information packets, logo redesigns, website redesigns, business cards, letterheads, envelopes–a whole campaign. While we worked as a team, each student developed their own campaign and helped each other grow by giving critical feedback on our progress throughout the semester. The work here is the result of my last semester. (NB: I did not create the HIS logo that appears on the materials. The logo was given to us to work with. However, I did come up with my own ideas for redesign.).
