On Running x Shoe Palace 30 Year Anniversary

On Running x Shoe Palace 30 Years
"Before the very first Shoe Palace brick and mortar store opened, the existing location used to be a flower shop that the Mersho family frequented often.
Once the opportunity came up, the family decided it was the right time to grow the business, especially in a shop that has meaning to everybody.
By 1993, the Bascom Street location opened and became a staple to San Jose’s community.
Fast-forward to present day, we have expanded the Bascom location and are the key supporters to that neighbourhood. We would like to celebrate our 30th anniversary with On Running by paying homage to the original flower shop and celebrating our history with everyone”.

We executed this by adding personal details to the shoe honouring the heritage of both the business and the family by incorporating both the forget-me-not flower and Edelweiss flower and by adding custom artwork to the sock liners paired with a tastefully executed upper.
