Remains Of Today - the complete body of work - 300 pieces.
At verbal 300 '[Is] My [He]art [Is] Still Beating', I added my, for now, last and final artwork to 299 other artworks of 30 x 30 cm each.
This concludes a series I have been working on from 2018 up to now, 2023. When presented now as a total installation, it would measure (without spacing) 4.5m high by 6m wide.
Soon I will exhibit, during exhibition Sustainable in Amersfoort, a selection of 27 works selected on colour brought together on tableaus of 3 x 3 (90 x 90 cm). This might just become the final appearance of a condensed selection I will still make of all the works.
Working on this series was an inspiring experience. It introduced me to a new way of looking at form, material and context. The pallet of images that has emerged is contemporary, circular, colourful, dynamic, and communicative. So far it has been exhibited in different venues in different constellations. The first 200 works have already been recorded in two books, volume 01 and vol. 02; the last 100 works will soon be published in the third volume.
