Animation of AM Cassandre's poster Dunkerque 1932
As a practice, I wanted to make an animated version of a poster drawn by the fantastic artist AM Cassandre (Dunkerque 1932).
I redraw all the elements in Illustrator, then I used After Effects to animate them and add some textures and effects.
I wanted to recreate the style of those old school animation logos we can see in old movies.
It was a very cool and interesting project!
