A few illustrations for a British Columbia native plants book
A client approached me with a request to draw him some illustrations for a book about native plants of British Columbia. I really like to draw plants, especially those completely unfamiliar to me. This is what happened this time too. My client wanted illustrations of wild mint, fawn lily and satin flowers. It was very interesting!
To start, I asked my client to send me some photos of these plants. Then, based on these photographs, I created sketches of these flowers. My client approved the sketches and I started drawing the illustrations in color in Proсreate.
