Glasgow Necropolis

Glasgow, Necropolis - 03/11/23
The Necropolis is a Victorian era cemetery located in Glasgow, Scotland that was built in 1832. It covers 32 acres of land and has approximately 50,000 people buried. The surrounding area and Victorian architecture featured on the grounds create a spooky and moody atmosphere.
I was inspired by this photo of the Clyde Arc by an unknown photographer. I liked it due to the wide shot of the architecture on display and the moody tone due to the dim lighting and colours

These photos were took near the entrance. As we proceeded uphill, the weather began to clear up and more opportunities arose.
These photos were took near the end of the trip as we began to loop around the grounds back to the exit.
Overall, I think this was my best image from this shoot. It resembles my inspiration due to the somewhat dim lighting and dull colours.
