Season 9 of EL SEÑOR DE LOS CIELOS saw the literal resurrection of its tittle character: Aurelio Casillas.
In a similar fashion to that for superheroes, our star did not stay dead for long. A rise from the ashes was the concept for this season. And, therefore, so was our concept for it opening tittles.
Out trusted partners, Green Power Media, accepted the challenge to fulfill our creative brief: a mixture of existing footage, and transitions into 3D ashes that sparked into the living image of our returning character.
We decided to recreate the iconic props that compose Aurelio, from micro to macro, while still displaying exciting footage and images of our star-studded cast.
The cherry on top? Norteño music made specifically for this season by the famous Mexican group Los Tucanes de Tijuana.
