Given the current economic crisis in Lebanon and the devaluation of the Lebanese pound, I purposefully chose to focus the initial phase of my Printmaking course projects on the theme of money. To this end, I explored various printing techniques, including Etching and Dry Point Etching. In my first project, I sought to highlight the discrepancy between the value of the Lebanese pound and the US dollar. By using a greater amount of black ink on the dollar bills, I aimed to convey the higher value of the US dollar. 

In my second project, I chose to do the Central Bank of Lebanon. In the third project, I decided to focus on the repetition of money. In my fourth project, I printed a series of dollar bills on a CD. Then, I chose to combine the third and fourth projects because there is repetition in both projects.
