I asked people to write their deepest unexpressed emotions and send me these writings to be made into a book.
By documenting these messages in a book, I want to encourage people to access their emotions. Not all emotions should be expressed, and certainly, not every thought should be said out loud, but eventually, the person has to deal with their feelings. Also showing these emotions can show that emotions are universal, regardless of background audience can resonate with these stories. Reading from diverse perspective also encourage readers to empathize, and see things from other people’s shoes.
