Parisian train: interior design.
Hippolyte Bouyer and I imagined an interior design for a parisian train transporting millions of passengers everyday : the Transilien. The aim of this workshop, conducted by a member of the French National Railway Company innovation department, was to optimise the number of seats regarding peaks in passenger trafic. We were inspired by "ribbon structures" we can find in some urban furniture to create alcoves that might break anxiety due to the crowd.
