Derek Fullmer's profile

Greenwood Valley Farms

With two sides of the farm - wagyu and tallow production - there is a need for separation in branding while still using core values to tie them together. Starting with the wagyu side, the identity and imagery used is to reflect the hands-on relationship the farm has with the cattle. Raising cattle for wagyu is a timely labor of love and patience. Our documents reflect this with textured assets that reveal natural imperfections from hand-made & classic print processes, all transferred onto a tangible, heavy paper.
Greenwood Valley's tallow products are from the same farm but deserve a different signature look that represents clean skin care with handmade products straight from the source. Simple ingredients, made by the same person raising the animals the tallow was derived from. Handwritten fonts, organic shapes, and light pastel colors used sparingly highlight the page and allow for a breathable, clean document.
