I wrote these scripts as a Junior Copywriter at MullenLowe SA for Domestos London. They were pitched to client who gave the go-ahead for production.

TVC SCRIPTS
VERSION 1:
TITLE: DO NOT GO GENTLY
We open on a scene of a woman welcoming guests into her lit up apartment for a dinner party. Guests barging through the door, flamboyantly hugging each other
VO: Do not go gentle into that good night
Cut to young adults at a party playing beer pong. Cup of beer spills on table and guy immediately slurps some straight off the table
VO: All souls should burn and rave at close of day
Cut to a young guy kissing a bowling ball before he’s about to bowl his turn.
VO: Rage, rage against the dying of the light
Cut to an elderly couple sitting on floor of balcony. Popcorn spilt everywhere. Grandpa throwing popcorn into grandma’s mouth.
VO: Old souls, the last wave by, crying how bright
Cut to teens at a nightclub. Girl sucking lollipop, takes it out of her mouth and gives it to random boy. Boy starts sucking lollipop.
VO: Their young selves might have danced in a green bay,
Cut to man in a bathtub with his dog. Dog licks the man’s face and man laughs and splashes dog.
VO: Rage, rage against the dying of the light
Option 1: Cut to a concert. Singer jumps off stage and crowdsurfs.
Option 2: Cut to a woman walking into bathroom at party to find man inside. They both look awkward and apologetic. They pause for a second and then start kissing.
VO: Wild souls who caught and sang the sun in flight
Cut to little girl sitting on the floor sharing ice cream with cat.
VO: Do not go gentle into that good night
Cut to a wedding reception. The awkward looking bride takes off her heels and suddenly starts dancing wildly.
VO: Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
END SCREEN: Domestos pack slamming onto toilet lid
ANNCR: When it comes to killing germs, we’re relentless. So that when it comes to living your life, you can be too. Domestos. Unstoppable.
VERSION 2:
TITLE: DO NOT GO GENTLY
We open on a shot of a woman in her apartment, rushing to put together the last finishing touches for a party. It looks nice but not super neat, rather cutely imperfect.
VO: Do not go gentle into that good night
Cut to guests barging through the door, hugging and kissing each other affectionately, champagne is popped and spills a bit on the floor
VO: Old age should burn and rave at close of day
2 of the women in a bedroom gossiping. One woman finishes applying lipstick and hands the lipstick to the other one who uses it.
VO: Rage, rage against the dying of light
A group of people sitting on the floor of the balcony, in deep conversation. Candles all around them. Bowl of nuts has spilt on the floor, they’re both eating the nuts from the floor.
VO: Though wise men at their end know dark is right
A guy in the bathroom checking himself out in the mirror, straightening his tie. Woman bursts in. They look embarrassed then kiss passionately against the bathroom door.
VO: Because their words had forked no lightning, they
A woman standing barefoot on a chair at the dinner table and making a toast
VO: Do not go gentle into that good night
Someone struggling to use the tongs to take ice out of the ice bucket. Gives up and sticks hand in, aggressively grabs a handful of ice and drops it in drink
VO: Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
A guy sitting on the countertop. Someone walks past, bumps his drink. It spills onto the countertop and he immediately slurps it up.
VO: Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
An elderly couple (host’s parents?) dancing. The grandpa twirls the grandma around and dips her.
VO: Rage, rage against the dying of the light
A shot of all the guests dancing, cheering, clinking glasses, drinks spilling.
CUT TO PRODUCT SHOT: Domestos pack being knocked over by a party horn unravelling as it’s being blown.
VO: When it comes to killing germs, we’re the opposite of gentle. So that when it comes to living your life, you can be too. Domestos. Unstoppable.
Quick cut back to party scene. Some funny/cute continuation of one of the earlier scenes.
