KIDA
“Kinderhaus in den Amperauen” (kida) is a kindergarten in a small town of 18,000 people in Bavaria. The kindergarten can accommodate up to 70 children, overseen by around six kindergarten teachers.
The Challenge 💪
Since the kindergarten is located near a forest and a river, the challenge was to incorporate the various forms and elements into one logo.

The Process 🗺️
I came up with the idea of having different circles that represent different forms and different elements found in nature to connect the kindergarten and the surroundings, which is mostly forests, fields, flowers, water and free space. Combining these circle the acronym “kida” can be read, which stands for “Kinderhaus in den Amperauen”. Having the circles in an angle gives it a playful aesthetic and it feels a lot lighter when you look at the logo.

What else? ℹ️
These circles can also serve as design elements in future projects to maintain a consistent design language. Green and orange were the chosen colors by the kindergarten and the architect.
