The goal of the project was to provide a more general purpose gaming banner for my "Larry Chupacabra" brand on youtube. Rather than a singular game or character I decided for a more robust branded approach. Using low poly and pixel based inspiration to imply gaming and game development.
In order to keep a coherent theme, I decided to drop the single color background of the Chupacabra icon. Replacing it with a slightly modified version of the triangular pattern background used in the channel banner design.
Handy enough. The colored version of the background makes for an excellent wallpaper at different sizes to share with subscribers, friends, and anyone interested.
