Auto OEM Technology Microsite

This was a simple site illustrating the use of a vechicle's connected technology.  The challenge was to try to make it sound more interesting and compelling than it actually was, since this was not the best technology on the market.  The creative concept was to try to make it as interactive as possible and let the user "experience" the technology as much as possible within the site.  My goal was to make it really simple to use.
Rollover tool tips were used extensively since the user needed guidance and I wanted to encourage playing with the headset as much as possible.  The ability to hop from section to section was a key part of allowing the user to explore a lot of the functionality very easily.  This was done both with arrows that encouraged exploration as well as a more traditional nav on the bottom of the page.
Since the unit would not be able to be fully simulated, some of the directions that the user would get from the actual head unit had to be mimicked via tool tips.
I even had to include a text message simulator since it wasn't assured that the user had a phone.  Most importantly in regard to this function, however, was that the functionality to simulate a message from the head unit to a real phone was not available at the time of this project.
