This spread is based on the layout of a medieval manuscript. I decided to base the content on a poem titled "The Two Headed Calf" by Laura Gilpin. I feel this poem has a certain amount of depth that paired well with the idea of ornate drolleries with imagery from the written piece scattered within their detail.
