This piece was an alternate take on Batgirl for Project: Rooftop's "Batgirl Begins" contest. It didn't place, but I liked the concept: a young girl whose life is saved by Batman dedicates herself to following in his footsteps, even if she doesn't have any of Bruce Wayne's resources at her command.
