Back in 2016 I was invited to document Manchester's Mayfield historic industrial buildings (AKA freight island) before they were transformed in to the Warehouse Project. There were visible traces of history all over the site, massive amounts of colour and texture, plus ghostly outlines of long gone internal structures.
