This project was part of the Design Visual subject, that integrated the Design degree at IADE, Universidade Europeia.
Home, an important part of who we are. Even though home is people and not a location, the place where we live has an impact on us, it is part of our childhood, it watched us grow, and, whether we like it or not, it influenced and continues to influence us.
During this project we were tasked to create a logo for the place we live in, based on its history and personality. Almada, located in the south side of the Tagus river, is the city I live in and grew up in. There are many important spots in Almada, such as Cristo Rei or Os Perseguidos, but the one that inspired the logo is the scenic elevator in Cacilhas, a place that allows you to see Lisbon and Tagus at its best.
