This Halloween illustration all started with doodles on my sketchbook made with oil pastels and pencils. When I saw them I knew I would give them an illustration to play in together!
When thinking about the sketch, I decided I wanted a spooky but playful atmosphere. So I wanted my characters to dance and have fun but at the same time I looked for that intruiguing and scary mood typical of Halloween!
Then I thought of a color palette that could be dark but with vivid high contrasts.
This is a little animation I made on the illustration, I really like to experiment with this tool to tell more about the atmosphere I had in mind.
