白山
Hakusan, a massive mountain that stands prominently in the Hokuriku region, is not only famous as one of Japan's best 100 mountains but also holds deep spiritual significance as a sacred mountain, drawing reverence from ancient times. Surrounding Hakusan, you can find Shinto shrines and other facilities, and it's widely known that a shrine dedicated to the deity Hakusan Hime stands at the summit's Gomen-mine. Given its long history, there are many different mountain trails and starting points. Betchu-deai in Ishikawa Prefecture is a well-known starting point among the general public.
