SHOOTING IN THE DARK
A photo essay retracing the path of a journey from a secondary life to primary life.
NIGHT (Above 18 DEGREE BEFORE SUNRISE)
It took birth at night in the summer of 2016. The phone came, the light came, the colors came and so did the image. I was looking in the darkness trying to find light, rejoicing but unable to anticipate the arrival of a long long day.
ASTRONOMICAL DAWN (18 DEGREE BEFORE SUNRISE)
Primarily I started studying Fine Arts in university. I did photography infrequently. These were my attempts to grasp something out of unawareness and pure curiosity. But I think those rare occasions triggered a sense of opportunity to explore the artform. As I look at these photos today I feel a sense of absurdness, an attempt to create metaphors and a keen interest to capture the unusual.
NAUTICAL DAWN (12 DEGREE BEFORE SUNRISE)
I got a mirrorless camera with kit lens(Sony A6000) in February of 2019. During this phase the photos I took in my phone also evolved as I got indulged doing photography as hobby with Sony.
CIVIL DAWN (06 DEGREE BEFORE SUNRISE)
I decided to pursue Cinematography in summer of 2021 out of pure love for cinema and little to no knowledge of the art or the craft.
DAY (0 DEGREE, SUNRISE)
'Go and see my motion pictures and tell me if I succeed'-
