The Pursuit Suitmobile is the first fully functional men's suiting retail vehicle.
Pursuit's core business is selling suits to students and young professionals who are buying their first suits. We needed to develop away to bring the Pursuit experience to students at campuses that couldn't support a full time brick and mortar stores and other venues where suits are needed such as offices and bachelor parties.
The exterior of the truck needed to be eye catching, but speak to the minimalist brand of Pursuit. It also had to be able to be hand painted because a full truck wrap was out of the budget. The pattern was inspired by combining dazzle camouflage and herringbone fabric. The addition of a graphic man wearing a suit was meant as a way to reinforce what was sold inside.
The interior was designed in conjunction with Tim Lai Architect, who converted the cargo area of the Suitmobile to resemble a miniturized version of the Pursuit brick and mortar store. With places for both hanging and folded garments as well as display areas, a dressing room, 270 degree mirror and cash wrap.
