Hip-hop in the Western culture of the 90s-00s was, perhaps,
the main phenomenon. The subculture itself remained underground
for a long time. The fashion world looked at rap and hip-hop artists incomprehensibly, not many people undertook to cooperate with rappers. Some brands generally avoided any associations with
hip-hop, and only a few started cooperation, seeing the potential
of such an unusual fashion for that time.
