Noise: Echo
"Noise Singapore 2014"

Noise is interpreted as being created from a sound source that has been reflected and repeated thus forming an echo.
Almost every action performed and every thought voiced results in a sound that can be very loud depending on the impact
of its source. The greater the impact of an artist’s work on viewers, the louder the noise is created.

With every step artists take in realizing their creative visions, they are making little-heard soundwaves within their circles. As they gain more recognition for their artistic endeavors and their circles expand, the sounds they generate will eventually grow into incredible noise that grabs the attention and blows the mind.

In a highly contrasting execution, this concept uses a plain color palette of black, bright yellow, green and orange.
The progressive steps that all artists take in reaching their ambitions are represented by an image of dizzying steel steps
in grainy monochrome. From this stark picture, a loudly colorful typography spelling ‘NOISE 2014’ pops out
at the viewer, with a staggered effect to represent the echoing of noise.
