How Can We Support Language Learning?

The Tomatis® Method seeks to enable students to develop a natural ear for the language, just like a bilingual child might. Linguistic integration refers to the idea that you should be able to speak the second language as naturally and easily as you speak your native tongue.

According to the studied language, linguistic integration is how students learn what they would have known if born to an English, Spanish, Chinese, etc. mother. The Tomatis® approach to language integration states that learning a language entails listening to it as if it were our native tongue. It's critical to mentally and physically acclimatise to it; in other words, to cease thinking of it as a foreign language.

To do this, a program will be followed utilising a TalksUp® device containing the Tomatis® Listening Programme for Languages' intensive main phases:

-the use of filtered language sounds
-establishing the language's phonetic foundation by activating the "maternal voice" of the language
-Repeating words and sentences onto a microphone while gradually removing language sound filters

Language learning aims to get practical knowledge rather than only the advantage of a good ear for the target language. To do this, sessions using the TalksUp® technology will alternate with lessons led by native speakers. We aim to mould your stance on the selected language in each situation.

Students who have learning disabilities and find it hard to learn languages should go for learning disability therapy. Contact Tomatis® professionals to get started today!
