Observances Of My Grandmother's Garden

I have spent the past 3 months painstakingly sketching, creating, and collecting images to put together this small book. The book revolves around memories I have from childhood regarding my grandmother's garden in Northern Wisconsin, from summers spent catching frogs by the pond to watching birds eat at the birdhouse to the sound of wind-chimes and fresh cut grass and flowers. Images is the main focus of this project, with text becoming a secondary addition to certain spreads to aid in the design. This project has been a long and enlightening process, in which I have used image-making processes I have never tried before. I am very proud of my final 20 spreads and intend to make this a gift to my grandmother.

I fully plan on transferring these files into a printed book with a hand-bound soft cover within the following week. I will update the project when finished.
Final Specs will be a 6x6 booklet of 20 spreads bound in softcover with a book sleeve.
