Silver and Light 

Watching the short documentary on Ian Ruhter and his captivating way of photographing was quite amazing. Seeing the limits that someone can push to create a new variety of a medium never done before. It inspires me to create art in a new way that is different from the norm. In our culture today everyone is trying to follow the newest trend, but breaking away from the trends is rarely done. When done right, however, it can create masterpieces like Ruhter's photographs. My favorite part of the documentary was showing Ruhter's failures because it shows the high-risk high reward of simply stepping out and doing something new
