João Lenhari

Trompetista, compositor, arranjador e professor

No Brasil integrou diversos projetos como arranjador, compositor e trompetista e faz parte do grupo que acompanha o cantor Roberto Carlos, uma das maiores lendas da música brasileira.

Foi professor de Jazz Trumpet durante cinco anos no “Conservatório de Tatuí” – o mais importante da América Latina.

Em 2021 se tornou o primeiro aluno de doutorado em Jazz Performance na Universidade de Montreal. Teve a oportunidade de tocar com as big bands de Yves Tourgeon, Patrice Luneau e Leo Bae, além de vários outros grupos.

Também faz parte do Projeto Café Fuerte, quarteto dedicado à interpretação de músicas originais brasileiras e colombianas, que lançará seu primeiro álbum em novembro de 2023, ano em que tornou-se o novo Diretor Musical da Big Band da Universidade de Montreal.

Por fim, para o ano de 2024, lançará o projeto João Lenhari Brazilian Big Band.

Trumpet player, composer, arranger and teacher

In Brazil, he was part of several projects as an arranger, composer and trumpet player and is part of the group that accompanies singer Roberto Carlos, one of the greatest legends of Brazilian music.

João was a Jazz Trumpet teacher for five years at the “Conservatório de Tatuí” – the most important in Latin America.

In 2021 he became the first doctoral student in Jazz Performance at the University of Montreal. He had the opportunity to play with the big bands of Yves Tourgeon, Patrice Luneau and Leo Bae, as well as several other groups.

He is also part of Projeto Café Fuerte, a quartet dedicated to the interpretation of original Brazilian and Colombian music, which will release its first album in November 2023, the year in which he became the new Musical Director of the Big Band at the University of Montreal.

Finally, in 2024, the João Lenhari Brazilian Big Band project will be launched.

A identidade foi construída em torno das iniciais "J" e "L, que ganharam forma e detalhes simples para representarem um trompete.

O ícone com curvas na base que sobem em linha reta passam a ideia de crescimento, evolução.

Concept
Man and instrument together

For those who have made their instrument their own life, the fusion of the two is the best path to visual representation.

The identity was built around the initials "J" and "L, which took shape and simple details to represent a trumpet.

The icon with curves at the base that rise in a straight line conveys the idea of growth and evolution.

Tipografia

Clássica e eterna

A inspiração para a tipografia do logotipo veio de pôsteres de grandes expoentes do Jazz, onde eram constantes as fontes condensadas e sem serifa. Muitas quase "art déco".

Para a fonte auxiliar, a escolha se deu pela família Poppins, elegante, clássica e não se sobrepõe aos elementos principais.

Classic and eternal

The inspiration for the logo's typography came from posters of great Jazz exponents, where condensed and sans serif fonts were constant. Many almost "art deco".

For the auxiliary font, the choice was made by the Poppins family, which is elegant, classic and does not overpower the main elements.
