Unexpected results
I made the following pictures during my vacation (macro weeks at a lake). These few were surprises to me after viewing them on the pc.
They are maybe not the best macro pics ever, but definitely unexpected results.
The fly
When I spotted this fly, I thought that this one is strange with the white body. I never saw such a fly before. First on the PC I discovered, that this is a picture of a birth of the fly. The white thing is the rest of the maggot.
The bug
This little guy looked completely harmless with the naked eye, even cute a little bit. Later I thought, these is the stuff for a monster horror movies.
Common red soldier beetle and the plant louse
I loved to make pictures of the common red soldier beetles. They are so cute little acrobats and performers. Sometimes they are a little bit clumsy in their actions on the blade of grass.
I almost deleted this picture, because of the minor sharpness, but then I saw these other almost transparent little guys - plant louse.
The Bumblebee
The last one is a little bit tragic. I was wondering why the bumblebee isn’t flying away – they always do. Actually they never stay for a long time at one place. Later on the big screen it was clear why. The little hairy guy’s leg was amputated.
