Da capo is about the death of our mother, the sun. My first encounter with nihilism occurred when I was a kid; I learned that the sun could potentially vanish in the future, inevitably leading to Earth's demise. Although I now understand the possibility of technology saving humanity and allowing us to inhabit another planet, that initial shock and the emptiness from it are still taking part in the deep down on my heart. I was deeply impressed by the beautiful visuals in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, which inspired me to envision the future, particularly the final moments of the sun.

Da capo는 태양의 죽음을 다룬 cgi 단편 영화입니다. 처음으로 허무함을 경험한 것은 어릴 적, 태양도 수명이 있고 미래에는 소멸하며, 이로 인한 지구의 종말은 필연적이라는 사실을 깨달았을 때였습니다. 비록 지금은 미래의 기술의 발전으로 인류가 다른 행성으로 이주할 수 있다는 시나리오를 알게 되었지만, 태양의 소멸에 관한 깨달음으로 인한 강한 인상과 그에서 비롯된 허무주의는 아직도 제 마음속 깊이 자리하고 있습니다. 최근 Christopher Nolan 감독의 Oppenheimer를 감상한 후 영화의 아름다운 장면들에서 깊은 감명을 받아 태양의 종말을 다룬 작품을 만들고 싶다는 생각을 하게 되었습니다.
