The task is to develop an individual narrative space within 5 x 5 x 5 m representing two characteristics which are randomly selected via lottery.
In this case, "Complex and Innovative".
The inspiration for this concept comes from the movie "Inside Out", which explores five different emotions and how they are interconnected. This aligns with the characteristics of complexity.
Emotion spirals consist of two parts: the slide and the stairs.
The spirals take you up and down the slide, triggering your emotions.
The polished steel represents self-reflection while displaying different connected colours on the outside to represent emotions.
Stairs are rational and provide a calm base for the visitor to learn the five emotions.
Slide over stairs represent our emotions are overpower our rationality sometimes.
